Inspired by Joseph Campbell's classic Power of Myth series, CRISIS is designed to provoke, challenge and inspire the viewer - the series will take you all the way from Jesus' outburst in the temple to our landing on the moon. And the constant questions being asked of the viewer: what is really real in our lives, and how can we live in such a complex world with dignity, compassion and purpose?

In RANT RAVE and RIFF, we have reached back in time and gathered wisdom sayings from great poets and film from great cinematographers  and created a complex brew that nourishes the soul as it stimulates the mind.

The series will try to answer the question “Why is poetry important - and especially now.”  We will interview great poets, scholars and philosophers to help us answer this question while weaving in and out of our unique Moving Poetry Short Films.

With the acceleration in the speed and volume of experience we live on a daily basis we have seen a similar acceleration in the amount of depression, anxiety, ADD and other mood disorders.  Many have turned to medication looking for relief.  The use of antidepressants alone has increased nearly 400% since 1990.

Is there another way to address this epidemic? A 5,000 year old scientific tradition known as Ayurveda leads us to believe that there is.
