Born
in Costa Rica in 1968, Carlos traveled extensively through Central America
as a youth and lived in El Salvador during that country's civil war in the
1980's. It is no surprise that he connected so effortlessly to the
spirit, rhythm and passion of the poetry of Pablo Neruda. |

Carlos would move to America in 1987 where he
attended the University of California at Berkeley. He would follow that
experience with further, extensive travels throughout South America where
he spent time building relationships in the local communities with the
produce farmers. An entrepreneur at heart, Carlos now runs his own import and
export business which specializes in exotic tropical fruits from South America
which are shipped to all coners of the World. His offices are in
Ridgefield, Connecticut, San Jose Costa Rica and Ecuador.
